The 4th Armored Division lands on July 11, 1944 in Utah Beach

On July 18, 1944 the CP of the division is at Meautis.

On July 24, 1944 the 4th Armored Division is located in the triangle Periers (city still occupied by the Germans) and Sainteny and Tribehou (cities already liberated)

July 25, 1944 is the beginning of the COBRA operation in which the 4th Armored Division participates
