Operational mission to Nogent-sur-Seine, France. Flak knocked out 6 to 8 feet off the left wing, sending the B-26 into two or three rolls and then went into a spin. Crashed at La Harceliere, near Saint-Honorine-La Chardonne, 17 miles of Vire, France.
