STORY

Burlington, North Carolina Daily Times News, October 26, 1944: Memorial service will be held at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Mebane on Sunday afternoon for Pvt. James E. Edwards, son of Mr. and Mrs. S.E. Edwards of Mebane who was killed in action on Aug. 30.

The deceased was the husband of Mrs. Cora Wright Edwards and is survived by one daughter, Marie, in addition to the wife.
