Daniel served as a Private, 3128th Quartermaster Service Company, U.S. Army during World War II. He resided in Fairfield County, Connecticut prior to the war. He enlisted in the Army on January 3, 1944 in New Haven, Connecticut. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being Single, without dependents. Daniel died in the "Line Of Duty" of a non-battle related incident during the war. |

From The Norwalk Hour December 5, 1945 Mr. and Mrs. James A. Fuller of 92 Taylor Avenue received a telegram today informing them that their son, Private Daniel Fuller of the Quartermaster Corps, died in Landivisiau, France on August 28 as a result of injuries occurred in a vehicle accident. He entered the Army in January. The weekly program of the Benjamin Franklin Junior High School was dedicated this week to Daniel Fuller who was killed in action with the infantry in France. Private Fuller, Born October 14, 1925, attended Franklin from 1937 to 1940. He was inducted January 29, 1944 and after basic training, was sent overseas to France. An expert rifleman, held the Good Conduct Medal. The assembly program opened with a psalm reading by Principal George R. Brunjes, after which the assembly said the Lord’s Prayer, offered the salute to the flag and the Pledge Of Allegiance. | |||||||
