At a place called « Le petit Val » a monument inaugurated July 4, 1948 commemorates the dead of a self machine gun crew of the M 8 US 85th Cavalry Recon Squadron, 5th Armored Division. This is Lieutenant Richard J. Blaha and soldiers Armin F. MICHEL and PAROSKIE fallen victim of enemy anti-tank gun on August 4, 1944. Their names are written on the right of the monument, the names of resistant shot by the German being registered on the left.
