Born June 29, 1920 and killed in action on 9 June 1944, at the age of 23.
He entered the U.S. Army on December 10, 1941. After receiving basic training at Camp Lee in Virginia.
He was then stationed at Fort Dix.
He served 3 months in Ireland of North and then 18 months in England before the invasion begins.
It is June 21, 1944 that a telegram arrives in the United States for Mr. and Mrs. Emory J. Crowl telling them that their son was missing since June 9 had died so far.
His body has not been found, he now rests somewhere at sea, in the channel.
