STORY

Just before enlisting in the army, Eugene married without a child, he is a carpenter

S / Sgt. Wilusz was killed in action (KIA) on March 2, 1944 while serving as a radio / machine gunner on a B-17G bomber belonging to the 570th Bombardment Squadron, 390th Bomb Group, the 8th Air Force.

According to our records his plane was flying on a mission, attacking a German airfield. He was struck by the "flak (anti-aircraft fire)" near Chartres and crashed between Amiens and Abbeville.
