Son of Otis Thompson Crafts.
Donald served as a Captain, 15th Infantry Battalion, 5th Armored Division, U.S. Army during World War II.
He resided in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire prior to the war.
Donald was "Killed In Action" in the Battle of Hürtgen Forest during the war.
He was awarded the "Silver Star", Purple Heart, and the French Croix de Guerre.
Service # O-448757
His brother, Capt. John M Crafts who served in the same division, was also "Killed In Action" during the war. They are interred next to each other here at Brittany at the request of their father.
