Sergeant Light, who is the 76th Lebanon County serviceman to lose his life as the result of action against the enemy during the present conflict, was inducted on March 19, 1943. He took his basic training at Camp Davis, North Carolina, and the July, 1944, was sent to England, where he was based when the fatal crash occurred. A graduate of Lebanon High School in the class of 1942, he was employed at the Lebanon Steel Foundry before his Induction. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of this city.
