STORY
Image of Robert J. Tadych. He is dressed in his uniform of service with the 1st patch Division on his left shoulder and the hat of garrison.

Robert J. Tadych was born on December 13th, 1911 to Oshkosh, WI, the son of Mr. and Mrs George Tadych.

He is awarded a diploma by Oshkosh High School and worked for Shoe Company Kinney and JC Penney.

He moved to Waukesha, WI, where he met and married Joyce Atkinson in July, 1937. She drowned itself in an accident on July 4th, 1943.

He served briefly in the 32nd division, national police of Wisconsin. He was fished up in April, 1943 and was allocated to the 1st Division "Big Red 1".

He was hurt in France on June 12th, 1944 and sent in England.

He returned to his regiment three weeks later and was killed during an attack on August 14th, 1944.
