STORY

Lambert KLIEBISCH

Today, october 13, 2017 I was guest by the ceremony at the Rhine-dike in Heteren,"The Island" invited by Never Forget Them association.
I was attended before on the name of Cpl.Norman D.Lantow serving by the 501 PIR 101 ABN DIV
Norman was killed in action on november 11 1944 on "The Island"
Five month's earlyer his brother Robert A.Lantow serving by the 502 PIR 101 ABN was killed in action june 13 1944 in Normandy in the "Battle of the Bloody Gulch"under command of Col.Robert G.Cole.
Their family decided that both their boy's would be burried on the American Cemetery and Memorial in Colleville sur Mere,Normandy side by side.
And so it's done,my aim is to pay my respect to both Troopers in june 2018 when I will be back again in Normandy.
Your not forgotten Norman&Robert Lantow........

Brother's Robert
