The 3516th QuarterMaster Truck Company was based in Cannes. On July 15, 1945, Edward was driving his truck accompanied by the TEC4 Lawton E WINFIELD. Unfortunately, an accident occurs and both die. Edward suffered a severe head trauma and was burned in the 2nd and 3rd degree.
